So I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country,
But it too seemed immovable.

As I grew into my twilight years,
In one last desperate attempt,
I settled for changing only my family,
Those closest to me,
But alas, they would have none of it.

And now I realize as I lie on my deathbed,
If I had only changed myself first,
Then by example I might have changed my family,
From their inspiration and encouragement
I would then have been able to better my country,
And who knows, I might have even changed the world.”

Just another dream

Well these are the lines which I narrated online - on chat - to my friend when she was getting bored, and result of it she logged out without informing.

Lost in the dreams it seems,
Are u wondering abt ice creams,
Flying with the wings high so high,
You feel that u can touch the sky,
I hope u do so with a smile on ur face,
And ur every wish gets fulfilled with the GODs grace,
Wish u see the sun 2morrow shining so bright,
That gives u courage to take another flight,
And once again u get lost in the dreams..
Once again u wonder abt ice cream...
And this goes on again and again
Like u r seeing the endless train
You dont want to stop and u dont pull the chain
And while its passing by u feel soothing all ur pains
